Shelf Life and Storage

Freshly chilled venison has a shelf-life of up to 14 weeks from processing, when unopened in a refrigerator held at a constant temperature of -1 C ± 0.5 C (29.5 - 31 F); or for up to two weeks in most home refrigerators, at 4 C (39 F).

"New Zealand Venison should keep for up to 2 years if held at a constant temperature of -18°C or below".
