Last week, we held the second installment in our new bi-monthly webinar series: Parasite Management - Understanding and Controlling Deer Parasites.
The webinars will feature on the first Tuesday of every second month, with the next webinar tentatively scheduled for 2 September, and will alternate between on-farm topics and wider industry happenings.
In this webinar, Wormwise programme lead and North Island vet Ginny Dodunski talked about parasite lifecycles, management practices you can implement, tools you can use, and specific parasites you should keep an eye on in your area. Ginny was joined by South Island vet and Wormwise facilitator Lorna Humm for a discussion on parasite management, ensuring we covered off the differences between North and South Island challenges.
